We require 24-hour notice of a mare's arrival, so please call and schedule a time to deliver your mare.  After arrival, your mare will be teased to detect heat.  Our veterinarian will check your mare, and track her through her heat cycles.

After your mare has ovulated and is ready to go home, Key Stallion Station will notify you.   Mares may be left until checked in foal.  If you choose to take your mare home before being checked in foal, you must have her checked by a veterinarian 14 to 16 days after ovulation and contact us with the findings.

We require 24 hours advance notice prior to picking up mares.  This gives us enough time to prepare a final statement.  We recommend another ultrasound examination be given at 30 to 40 days to recheck pregnancy.

We encourage you to stop by and tour our facilities. Please call ahead and let us know you are coming, not all stallions stand year round.
